Fire Warden Training – Wednesday 23rd January

On Wednesday 23rd January, New Ross & District Chamber are providing a one day Fire Warden Training Course in association with Guardian Fire & Safety.

Time: 11.00am – 4.30pm

Cost: €95 – Chamber Members / €120 – Non-Members

Trainer: Guardian Fire & Safety

Venue: The Rising Tide Business Centre, 35 South Street, New Ross, Co Wexford.

This is a more in-depth workshop for owners, managers, supervisors, etc., who
have a higher level of responsibility for looking after the safety of staff, visitors and
customers in the event of fire.

This Course fulfills the Health & Safety Requirements for Staff Members to be certified in relation to Fire Safety and includes Practical Extinguisher Discharge Training.

Is your “Manual Handling” up to date?

The PAYE Modernisation Project – What is it?

On Wednesday 24th October, New Ross & District Chamber are hosting a breakfast briefing to prepare for the new PAYE Modernisation Project.

This Project will involve the most significant reform of the PAYE system since its introduction in 1960. Employers will need to calculate and report their employees pay and deductions as they are being paid.

The new real time reporting regime will be operational for all employee payments being made from 1stJanuary 2019.
