The Board of Directors and the Management Team of the New Ross Chamber of Commerce Inc is responsible for a Community Employment Training & Development Programme in New Ross that has over 30 individuals placed within 9 local community projects. These projects are listed furhter down the page.
Jobseekers can use the Programme as an opportunity to re-enter the active workforce, gain practical skills, meet and network with work colleagues and potential employers, and upskill with the Programmes Learning Needs Analysis and Individual Learning Plans.
As well as being of benefit to the participants, the placements also make an invaluable contribution to the community projects in the town and district.

Please note that eligibility to participate on our Employment Programme is linked to those currently in receipt of an Irish Social Welfare payment, registered with the DSP and meeting the Community Employment Programme Eligibility Criteria – see criteria here
Jobseekers must meet the criteria under the Part-time Integration Option or Part-time Job Option.
To participate in our Employment Programme you must register your interest at your local DSP Employment Services/Intreo Office, telephone the New Ross Office on 051 448970 open to the public every Tuesday. (All other days by appointment only).
