You can also enjoy all the bonnets on display and spend time exploring the shops, as there will be bonnets of all shapes and sizes young and old to admire as the annual Wexford Sports and Classic Car Club will have the Quay full of cars and are hosting Ford 100 cars marking a historical landmark in Irish motoring. This event gets bigger and better every year and is one of the biggest FREE CAR SHOWS around.
Bring your family to New Ross and, let your children take part in a fun Treasure Hunt, experience been a pirate on board the Tall Ship Dunbrody which is moored at the quayside, visit the Apex Leisure Swimming Pool for a swim or gym work out.
Get together throughout the day for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea in the many cafes restaurants like the shops are family run offering a variety range of home coking
Pick up the New Ross Street Focus street map and take a walk along the river side board walk, shake hands with John F Kennedy, visit the Ros Tapestry, a short walk away is the award winning Library Park and then take a stroll around the refurbished St Mary’s Church and grounds as part of The Norman Way. There is so much to be seen, things you miss every time you rush long the quays and over the river Barrow.

This year the New Ross Branch of the RNLI will launch their National Mayday Appeal on the 22nd April in conjunction with the Wexford Sports and Classic Car Club car show, the Mayday Appeal raises much need moneys to ensure the volunteer crew members are fully trained and equipped to answer the call whenever it comes regardless of time or conditions. and details on how to get involved
